Focus and Scope
Indonesian Journal of Cardiology (IJC) is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal established by the Indonesian Heart Association (IHA)/Perhimpunan Dokter Spesialis Kardiovaskular Indonesia (PERKI) [www.inaheart.org] in 1979. This journal is published to meet the needs of physicians and other health professionals for scientific articles in the cardiovascular field. All articles (research, case report, review article, and others) should be original and have never been published in any magazine/journal. Prior to publication, every manuscript will be subjected to double-blind review by peer reviewers. We consider articles on all aspects of the cardiovascular system, including clinical, translational, epidemiological, and basic studies.

Peer Review
The submitted manuscript will be reviewed by an editor. The quality and suitability of the submission will be evaluated in relation to the journal's focus and scope. After passing the initial assessment, it will be checked for plagiarism before being reviewed by peer-reviewer(s). Indonesian Journal of Cardiology adopts double-blind peer review, in which the manuscript will be sent to the reviewer anonymously. Reviewers' comments would also be sent anonymously to the corresponding author, who has to respond to the comments provided. The decision concerning the manuscript will then be discussed in the editorial board meeting, and the final decision will be sent to the corresponding author.
Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not allowed. Authors should declare that their works are free from any kind of plagiarism. In case plagiarized material is revealed in any of the published papers, the paper will be retracted, and the Editorial Board will make a public notice to the readers.
Article Processing Charges
The journal does not charge for the submission and processing of manuscripts.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
