Dr. Sunanto Ng is an interventional cardiologist specializing in complex percutaneous coronary and structural cardiac interventions. Since 2012, he has served as Lecturer and Assistant Professor at one of Indonesia’s leading medical schools. Trained in both Indonesia and the Netherlands, he obtained his PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from the University Medical Center Utrecht and holds consultant certification in Interventional Cardiology from the National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita.

An active researcher and author, Dr. Ng has published extensively on coronary intervention, dyslipidemia, and acute coronary syndromes, with his recent work featured in the Indonesian Journal of Cardiology and other international journals. He is a Fellow of the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology and the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology, and currently chairs the Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis, Lipidology, and Regenerative Working Group of the Indonesian Heart Association. Since 2025, Dr. Ng has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Indonesian Journal of Cardiology, where he continues to promote scientific excellence and advance cardiovascular research across Indonesia and Southeast Asia
